The world class views make this so exceptional. People call Corpus Christi, "The Sparkling City", it's very pretty.
Our Condo is not big on space, but it is big on amenities. This is a very comfortable 1 bedroom Condo. If you are traveling with more than 2 people, we have 2 bunk beds located in a niche we've built in the hallway. In addition we have a sofa sleeper in the living room.
*Our bunkbeds are pictured. There is a ladder to reach the top bunk and there is a safety rail. Both of these are secure. However, we cannot control anything beyond that, therefor we will not accept any responsibility for any falls or accidents that may occur. Your booking this rental is your statement of acknowledging our terms and your understanding that you are extending Fun At The Beach Vacation Rentals, LLC of a hold harmless agreement for any accidents of use of the bunkbeds.
You can fit up to 6 people, or 4 adults max. These are rules we cannot bend, they are from our condominium complex. Please do not book this if you have more than 4 adults, or more than 6 people total.
IF YOU REQUIRE A LOT OF SPACE, then this is probably not for you. There is 420 sqft and while we have had MANY groups of 6 people find it suitable, there have also been some that said it was too tight.

We are located on Corpus Christi's North Beach. It is very much "the place to be" these days in Corpus or the area. Great restaurants, bars, and shopping are located on our beach, all within walking distance from our condo.
We have covered parking in our gated lot, it isn't assigned parking but it is ample and you will have no problem. The spaces are very large and fit up to two cars per rental.
Very easy to get to, we are located on Surfside Blvd which is right off of US Hwy 181N. 20 minutes to airport, 2 minutes to the USS Lexington and Texas State Aquarium, 5 minutes from downtown Corpus Christi, 7 minutes from the nearest Golf Course, 3 minutes from Whataburger Field and the American Bank Colosseum.
There are many beaches around us, Port Aransas (20-30 minutes depending on the Ferry) and Rockport (20 minutes) are both outstanding and are great places to visit if you have extra
We do not allow pets, and we do not allow smoking. The Complex has a $15 one time check in fee. This allows access to the secured parking and usage of all complex facilities.
*If you will arrive late and after Office hours, no worries, we have Security and they will be made aware of your arrival. They will allow you to enter the gate community and issue you a temporary parking permit.

Cancellation Policy
We accept cancellation and gladly refund 100% of all monies paid up to 14 days prior to your arrival.
In the event you cannot make your rental. No worries! Let us know within 24 hours of your scheduled arrival date we will give full credit of the money paid towards a future rental for up to one year from your original purchase.
Deposit Policy
For our customers convenience we allow future reservations to be booked with only 20% deposit. Your deposit will go towards the cost of your rental. All balances must be paid in full within 14 days of arrival.
Rate varies due to seasonality and holidays.

We had a great stay. The condo was in an excellent location right on the beach and great view from the balcony.
Nice quaint little condo next to north beach. Walking distance from aquarium and the USS Lexington. Would recommend if you want to relax more next to beach and poolside.
Really enjoyed my stay!
My family enjoyed our stay at John’s condo. We arrived earlier than expected and were able to check in early thanks to great communication from John.
The condo was in great condition and had everything it said it would have and the some. It was also in the perfect location, within walking distance to the beach, restaurants, the aquarium, USS Lexington and great fishing spots.
Tips-
Aquarium purchase your tickets online to avoid the long lines and make sure to purchase your parking with your tickets as well. You’ll get in right away with preordered tickets. So glad we missed those insane lines.
Selena Museum: opens at 10am weekdays only and only $5 to get in but expect a long wait to get in. I’d arrive WAY earlier than an hour early.
USS Lexington have cash handy. Parking was only $5 for all day but most parking areas only take cash.
We were able to find great locations at the beach and even swam for a long time before the crab and jellyfish rolled in. Watch out for the ! They were everywhere around 5pm.
Fishing-
There’s a little blue bait shop close by with live shrimp bait! Worked wonderful for us.
I’d check out the Pier next to the USS Lexington and Indian Point Pier. There’s some good fishing there.
Food-
Pier 99 was closed when the whole time we were in town so call ahead.
Blackbeard’s is a wonderful place if you love seafood with great service!
Breakfast! If you’re a breakfast person I highly suggest you visit Price’s Chef! Super great breakfast! They open at 7am and close at 2pm
We will definitely be back and look forward to staying at John’s place again.
The condo was okay, John communicated very well though and was very prompt and courteous.

Whitney, although this was your very first Airbnb rental there are still a few things to remember. One, is when you arrive 2 hours or more early and demand to check in -- things are not going to workout well for anyone. Especially on a Sunday, which is typically a cleaners busiest day of the week. Had you called me that morning and told me it looked like you would be in much earlier than the 3pm check in time we would have had some notice.
The other thing to remember is if a Host tells you they are sorry and the property isn't ready yet, they aren't lying. You created a lot of anxiety for our office staff and then our cleaners. After I told you it wasn't ready you then went to the staff to see if they would let you all in. After they told you it wasn't ready, you then bypassed all of us and went straight to the Condo... and got after the cleaners??!!
We are very easy going and we accommodate 100% of the time we are asked first and have an opportunity to coordinate things for our guests. I have about 300 reviews on this site and more than that on other booking sites. They all support my statement.
I feel terrible to write like this, but your actions and then your subsequent poor review is unacceptable. It speaks more to you than myself as a host or my property. For those guests interested in staying with us that are reading this, I apologize. This is not typical.

I knew from photos that we could see the beach from our room but I didn’t realize that we’d have walking access to the beach! The locations was perfect for getting straight to the water each day as well as a quick drive to a few restaurants and stores.
The creative use of space in this rental is wonderful and really gave everyone in my family their own little area to relax.
I mistakenly thought that this rental had a standard coffee pot but it’s got a keurig. John was kind enough to provide some k cups for the machine which was a welcome surprise. Enjoying some coffee on the patio each morning was a lovely way to start the day.
The bar and TV trays gave us plenty of space to eat a meal in the room.
Funny to add but I really enjoyed the towels provided at this rental. They were lovely and soft.
Tucked under the bunk bed is a canopy tent to share which is a thoughtful addition.
Great home away from home. Hosted by a superb and thoughtful host. Space was perfect and clean. The view of beach from the balcony was amazing. After raining so much we finally enjoyed the sun on the beach. Thanks to John for making that possible. We even enjoyed an Air Show on the beach as a BONUS. How cool is that!! Our weekend here was EXACTLY what we needed for a BESTIES GETAWAY! LOVED IT AND WILL DO IT AGAIN?
I absolutely loved this place. It was right on the beach and the view was excellent. The condo was amazing and just the right size for me and my two children. We were having problems connecting to the WiFi, but John was an amazing host and responded to ,y message within 5 minutes of me sending it to him. The pool on the property is heated which was a plus because it was a rather windy weekend when we were there. The view from the condo is absolutely beautiful and I found myself out on the balcony almost the entire stay. We will be staying here again when we return to Corpus.
John is a great host. Building is very old.

This place is small but a perfect view of beach and USS Lexington and bridge is lit up at night. Not sure about sitting out on the furniture On deck was a bit outdated. You will notice the condo is refurbished. This was plenty of space for a couple teenagers an adult and little kiddos for 1 night but with all females you may want to consider another bathroom. Note you will pay a $15 parking pass fee when you sign in with front desk. Also note there is 1 pull out couch, 1 bunk (2beds) and one bed in main bedroom. Host was an excellent host. Maintenance on the other hand should probably focus on cleanliness more.
